Ha! Ha! Reminds me of when they told me I was going to have to have a C-section. I'm lying in the operating room and in all seriousness asked, "So, if I'm going to have a C-section, why am I still having labor pains?"
I'm wondering if a day will come when I don't sweat from the heat and the age. Then, again, sometimes it makes me aware of my body - or the scent thereof.
Your question brings to mind my sister's approach to terrible summer heat: each night before bed, rev up the shower to its hottest. Then take a super hot shower. Once you turn it off and step out, you'll feel positively cool in comparison.
So that's what the hot flashes are doing for you. See?

I like the new-look blog.
How the hell can you tell that you're having a hot flash when it's 10,000 degrees out? On the up side -- no one can tell that you're having one now.
Try Black Cohosh to reduce hot flashes and night sweats. Sure worked for me. But then I lived in the cool NW.
word verification: novent :D
I've never had a hot flash so I may regret saying this some day, but when it's really cold out I kind of wish for them.
Having a private vacation in the tropics??? The few hot flashes I've experienced felt more like meltdowns!!
I like that. I'd like to pass it on to Wendy. Do you think she'd think it was funny? I'm never quite sure these days.

Does seem a bit perverse, doesn't it (grin)?

I have a learned a new word~pleonasm, and a new fact~frogs have hot flashes, all this before noon. Thanks, Jazz!
When mother nature has a hot flash everybody's invited.
call it a power surge ;)
DD - Thanks
XUP - Heat is from the outside. Hot flashes start on the inside and work their way out.
Gaelyn - Thanks for the tip.
SAW - Believe me, you don't. Even when it's really cold.
e - One tries for facetiousness...
Ian - Just don't show it to her in the middle of a hot flash.
Geewits - Bwahahahahaaa
Shrinky - A bit perverse?!?
MJ - I'm hoping it stops one day. Otherwise I'll just have to killl myself. Or more likely kill whoever happens to be beside me at the time.
Joanie - My pleasure
Tatty - I wish I could invite everyone when I have one.
Lime - LOL I like that!
When you get a chance, you'll have to check out my Sunday Roast interview (link to it is in my past) - you're in it.
SAW - ooohhh thank you... the link is in your past? Well, yeah, actually it is, isn't it?

It's so hot here that I think a hot flash might bring on spontaneous combustion!!
