What I hate most...

... about getting close to 50 is that way more people in my immediate surroundings are dying than being born.

What a happy thought for the weekend! Yeah, and my future's behind me too!

:(

that reminds me of a thing I heard a long time ago, that you know you're getting older when you attend more funerals than weddings.

sorry for a crappy friday.

Yeah that part sucks but it really is great not to have periods. Period.

Death is a part of life so the more people close to us die, the more we should feel alive and thankful that we are. And don't you forget it!

Dumdad - I like that. My future's behind me... It made me smile.

Rachel - Oh yeah.

Fuball - I know, it's just that another one bit the dust and it's been way too many in the past couple of months.

Geewits - Unfortunately I'm not yet periodless. Damn.

Mr. J - OK. I won't forget.

I like Mr. Jazz's attitude. For every person that dies your odds of staying alive get better. 50 is nothing. As long as you're relatively healthy and active you could go on for another 50... so really you're only half done

What is interesting about getting to 50 is the older people who are dying suddenly weren't so old.
