Baby You Can Drive My Car....

Ok, I'm not gonna be a star, but may a present Ely* the fourth. Our new Toyota Matrix (or it will be ours as soon as the papers are signed tonight):

I have loved this model ever since it came out. Plus there is an amazing amount of storage space. If ever I go on a serial killing spree, I'll be able to dump at least 5-6 bodies in there. Minimum.

* Ely - the first three letters on our license plate. Every car has been Ely since those plates. Anyone got a better alternative?
Go ahead people, name our car.

Maybe 10-12 if you fold them in half!

A whole bunch of garbage bags full if you cut them into small pieces.

Just remember the tarps. Bodies are a messy business.

Nice ride. That car has either 'you' or 'Ely' written all over it.

Wow! changing your car! bye bye the black one... Love the Matrix. I second the tarp and plastic bags, that way nobody can really see anything from the outside. Just don't include the Mistake by the Lake on your spree ok?

All - (Except Ian). Wow, who knew an offhand comment on killing sprees would hook y'all that way!

Ian - So far, the only car that Ely didn't fit too well was the piece 'o shit Nissan Altima we're getting rid of.

Cool lil sister, you'll have to come around and show it to us. We can compare it with my Subaru Imprezza and see which of them can fit in the most bodies...;o) We'll have to determine the average size of the bodies, unless we reuse the same ones to measure each car.

I have a shade of lipstick exactly that color.

That's all that matters, right? If your lipstick matches your car?

Congrats! You got a new car!!

Can I have it?

(This is what my son would ask ... I'm just copying him.)

SWEET! Try to avoid that killin' spree. Red cars are so easy to spot on the road. Besides, all those dead bodies will kill the new car smell.

xup, I am so glad to see your boots and know you are still with us. I didn't know what had happened to you.

I had a comment ready for a new name, but all this talk of tarps and bodies made me lose it.

You're stuck with Ely now, I think. I blame everyone for the loss of what was sure to be the bestest name for a red car ever.

Fie upon the lot of ye!

How about "Cabernet?"

BB - The matrix can fit more. Apparently nothing in its size has more storage space.

Josie - of course. Though I'm thinking I might have to buy a new coat. Mine is red, but not quite the right red.

DD - Nope

Pop - But apparently they have "new car smell" car perfume. Who knew.

Rachel - Is it back yet?

Geewits - Cab... nice...

How about JazzMo (as in the Jazz Mobile). As for our current Altima, we own it until Monday night and calling it "piece 'o shit" is highly risky. I hope she doesn't read your blog... You know what she's capable of don't you? Let her think we still love her so we can go to the kôtaj and make it back in one piece....

I've heard good things about Matrixes (sp?) - dated someone who had one who had also consdered my car, a Mazda 3. I wish I had a hatch on mine, though. My current wish is for a hybrid.

That's Moulan Rouge to you baby!

Uhm...Never mind the car (though congrats on the new Matrix! Will it be in cherry red, as seen?) I'm curious as to when and where you might start this killing spree of yours. Could you wait until I'm out of town, please? Though maybe you'd be of the random sort, though I don't see you as that kind. I think that's a compliment of sorts. : )

Mr. Jazz - I'm liking Jazzmo

CS - My always wish is for a hybrid, but they're so damn expensive in Canada that I can't afford one.

TG - :-)

Paula - we got it last night. It is indeed bright red. As for the killing spree, don't worry you're not on the list. However, if you have someone to get rid of I'd be willing to consider taking care of it for you.

Well, aren't you sweet! : D

Ch-ch-ch-cherry bomb!
