So much for denial

.
Monday we turned on the heat.

On my way to work this morning it was snowing. Just a little and not enough to stay on the ground but still.

IT.

WAS.

SNOWING.

In October!

Denial no longer seems to be an option.

Damn, now there will be long line-ups to get the snow tires on.

Winter is an evil thing. Be strong.

Suzan - It's always too early

Dumdad - Indeed

Fuball - look at my comment of this morning. I repeat, you are insane.

Em - You go tell them that. Maybe they'll listen to you.

VioletSky - the appointment has been made.

Hagel - Come spend a winter in Montreal. You guys got it easy in jolly old England.

Ian - I will strive for strength.

I think you should try to embrace seasonal changes. A good October month is always better than a grey November or any April month (which is rarely a good month).

bah! that sucks! if you guys are getting snow now, that means we in New England aren't that far behind! Goddamnit!

We normally get our first welcome mat around our Thanksgiving holidays (4th Thursday of Novemeber), and if it comes any sooner than that...I swear to GAWD I'm looking for work in Arizona!

Once gay marriage is legal down here, marry me and we'll go to Lake Havasu together.

We haven't had snow yet and just don't even want to hear about your snow because that could only mean our snow is not too far off.

They kept forecasting this big cold front today - it was supposed to be in the low 70's so I wore jeans and tennis shoes and I was HOT. And mad. I spent the first half of the day thinking, "I wish I'd worn shorts!!!" But when I walked out of the bar at 1:40, it had happened. It was nice and cool and I loved it. And now it's almost chilly.
If it ever snowed here in October, all the networks would pre-empt regular programming and talk about the weather all night.

Awww - it's so pretty though!

The first snow of the season always made me sentimental. But after that, just mental.

Guillaume - To each his own... Snow in October is not good for me.

Rachel - Gay marriage is legal here, could we force them to recognize it in the US? Unfortunately, bigamy isn't legal, and I'm thinking Mr. Jazz wouldn't be too hot on the whole idea.

XUP - no more snow has fallen. And it's sunny today...

BB - Shaddap

Susan - Not exciting, way too soon.

Geewits - 70s are a cold front? I'm moving to Texas.

Joe - yeah, mental. That sounds about right.

It's just Trial Balloon snow. I promise you--'cause I'm really weather-strong--that nothing will accumulate until December 3rd.
