What struck me about the whole ceremony was Dick Cheney in a wheelchair, looking frail and sickly. It was like watching a crumbling old regime dying, literally. Even Bush looked old and tired.
I completely agree with you about winter (our cabin has had no water since a big freeze in early Dec),and your post about So long to the dunce down south. But I LOVE the post on mental pause. Sister, I am so there with you! Someone told me one day "Think of every hot flash as your own private tropical vacation." She is lucky to still be alive. Bitch. V.

Absolutely, very welcome. And you are no more relived than I am! My computer now sports a big "Yes We Did!" sticker.
My pleasure! I do live in a red state, so I can't take credit, but I did vote for him.
